Penguins of the Crozet Islands

The Crozet Islands are home to four breeding species of penguin:

2,000,000 pairs of Macaroni Penguin (Eudyptes chrysolophus)

750,000 pairs of King Penguin (Aptenodytes patagonicus)

150,000 pairs of Eastern Rockhopper Penguin (Eudyptes chrysocome)

5,000 pairs of Gentoo Penguin (Pygoscelis papua)
